We actually wanted to try out Thai Food next to this shop. Unfortunately, is closed that day. So we decided to try this restaurant out...Well, I wouldn't say it is a restaurant but rather an hut outside some shophouses. Nearby there is some famous pork noodle and One Ming Kee (initial shop). This Loi Fatt Fatt being introduce by Jenny which they served bitter gourd noodle and some other delicacies. This time we ordered some dishes and rice.

But do you all know that the original Shilin market was demolished in October 2002 due to safety and fire hazards concern. Most of the vendors being relocated to a newer structure next to Metro Jiantan Station which is where I visited. Going back further, Shilin market was formally established in 1909 only during daytime. Overall, the culture in Taiwan night market and local Malaysia night market are very much similar. However, Taiwan night market edge better in terms of completeness, varieties and scale of the night market where is strategically located between shop houses mostly in central cities and towns. Is like a one stop outdoor convenient stores where you can find stretch of foods along the streets of the market.
Stay tuned for more Taiwan Snacks recommendation in the next post on 28 August 2011. I will then share with you what are the snacks that is uncommon, new and not very appetizing to try it.

This is a place to hang out for some coffee and tea but pricey compared to "mamak"... The place is great to sit and relax and also chatting with your friends...Best part is, you can see lots of people walking at The Street while you enjoying your cup of coffee or tea...

In my early days when I start passion on new foods and just initiated to capture it with just my mobile, I visited this exquisite restaurant and bar in Ascott Hotel Kuala Lumpur to celebrate my Birthday. If your are looking for some glamorous, social dining experience perhaps this is the right spot that may interest you.
The unique design of the restaurant are well furbished with fans which are more Eco-friendly and dazzling champagne pillar that goes all the way from the ground floor to the first floor. The cuisine serve here are known as "cosmopolitan" because it ranges from Italian, Japanese, local Malaysian cuisine and many more
Seared foie gras (special)

Sukhotai Lamb (Highly recommended)

Its been a pleasant dinner in such one of its kind ambiance which suitable for a romantic dinning for two or to loosen yourselves and mates with some musics accompanied with champagne and wines.

First time trying so called frozen yogurt. This is nice and totally different from ice cream and gelato. At first, I have no idea how to order...Luckily, there is a guide...
Step 1: Choose you cup size
Step 2: Fill up the cup with you choice of frozen yogurt
Step 3: Choose your favorite toppings
Step 4: Weigh and pay
