Following up my previous review on Tien Pin Restaurant (also known as Hainanese Taste) posted on December 2010, realising that the franchise Tang Pin Kitchen had been introduce in many areas including SS2, Sri Petaling, SS19 Subang Jaya, Dataran Sunway Kota Damansara, and probably in few more areas.
Couple of friends inquire is there difference between both the restaurant which both serving mee pok. So we decided to go for tour into both shop and inquire the staff realising that the management of both the restaurant is the same but the menu is slight different. Tien Pin Mee Pok is still proclaim as the original and main quarter for all franchise.

The decoration of the restaurant remains the taste of the 80's whereby many customers having cup of coffee with a bowl of noodles on the marble table.
Mee Pok (Recommended)
- after tasting both restaurants, me and my friends still feel Tien Pin still taste better as compare to Tang Pin's Mee pok-
Fish noodle with glass noodle
- the glass noodle gives a different textures as well as accompanied by few pieces of fish cake -
Fried chee cheong fun with fish noodle (Recommended)
- apart from mee pok, please do try this as it gives a very different savor mixture of black soy sauce and their spicy sambal -
After wholesome mee pok, you can delight yourselves with ice cream which come is different flavours.
Really enjoy the fried chee cheong fun with fish noodle thus giving a better rate as compare to my previous review.
