Always do and always will seek for nice nyonya cuisines especially when I'm in Malacca. This time, found Manis Sayang that been located in Taman Melaka Raya. The restaurant is not that visible unlike Amboi so if you are looking for this place please do ask around or bring your GPS with you.
Manis had been in town for quite some time and according to source, its a favourite spot for tours to dine-in. During my visit, I witness a group of Japanese tourist step in the restaurant with their tour guide thus i believe the place its quite famous.
Ponteh Chicken (Nice)
- traditional nyonya braise chicken with mushrooms and garlic -
Stir Fried Lady Fingers with Nyonya Sambal (Nice)
- the nyonya sambal is very nice but the lady fingers rather crunchy -

- personally feel that the assam is rather watery thus it does not really blends with the fish -
Sambal Petai Squid (Nice)
- spiciness of the sambal bring the greatness of petai as it always a great combination -

Overall, the servings are quite reasonable but there are lots of room of improvement especially the assam fish and otak-otak is common in nyonya cuisine.
