I bet there are lots of reviews of this famous shop along Jonker Walk in Malacca already but since i've just been there recently, i might as well express my opinion here regarding this shop. It is none other than Jonker88.
The shop is famous for their baba-nyonya type of food such as Nyonya Laksa, Laksa, Cendol, Durian Cendol, ABC and lots more. The Nyonya Laksa is similar to the Penang Laksa except it is less sour and more to spicy. There are a lot of customers queuing up whole day especially during weekends.
For your information, there are 2 queues where the queue on the left is for desserts such as Cendol while the other queue on the right is for food like Laksa. This shop practises self-service so you'll need to have a friend to find/book a place to sit while the other queue to buy food. The price of the foods there are not so expensive as a bowl of Cendol cost around RM3.00 while Laksa cost around RM3.00-4.00 only.
Overall it's a nice place to rest your legs and have a nice cool dessert after a long walk at Jonker Walk. For your information, there are 2 queues where the queue on the left is for desserts such as Cendol while the other queue on the right is for food like Laksa. This shop practises self-service so you'll need to have a friend to find/book a place to sit while the other queue to buy food. The nyonya laksa is not original! I'm a pure nyonya and i'm sad that they sell that kind of laksa nyonya which the taste is not even near the original yummy nyonya laksa!!!
