Selangor.

Email: restTHC@streamyx.com

Newly open restaurant at SS 2 (Chow Yang). Same row with Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee and Restoran Okay. It looks fine from the outside but the signage a bit colorful... Anyway, we just walk into the shop and being served with their menu by Kat (012-2125068).

The colorful menu

Their business hour signage with free WiFi

Pie Tee (RM4.80)
The ingredient lack of taste...but i like the cup which is so crispy

Pong Teh
This taste like being cooked earlier and i think they just re-heat it...kind of like tasteless.

Stir Fried Vegetable
Very oily and you can only taste the oil rather than the vegetable taste.

Sweet & Sour Fish
This quite nice and would be the best among all.

Just an Ordinary Steam Rice

Sambal Belacan (upon request)
Taste bad...no chilly taste at all...

Soup of the Day
ABC Soup - not that bad...a bit plain

Red Bean Dessert (Complimentary)

Herbal Honey (RM3.60)& Pat Poh Lime (RM3.10)

Overall, it is bad experience for me. If you are looking for some good Taiping food, you can try out Restoran Taiping Lang @ Puchong Jaya which personally think is much better.

Tel: 03-5632 9312
Operating Hours: 6pm to 12am

Have not visit SUMI-KA for quite some time since college and finally decided to have a supper dinning over it. Its a Japanese grill and sake theme restaurant where they serve variety of Japanese skewers and of cause bottles of sake. The bottles of sake can be kept over in the restaurant if you unable to finish it on the spot so its pretty convenient.

The head chef is truly Japanese as it rely on his waiters to take down orders from customers and paper it in Japanese. Its absolutely entertaining watching the chef grill every sticks as smoke raising up with smokey fragrance tempts your appetite.

The restaurant practice open kitchen concept and please be aware that besides dishes in the menu, there are also daily special servings that written on a small blackboard beside the bar. The daily specials are written in Japanese so unfamiliarity please refer to the waiter for assistant. You may be surprise by its variety of special dishes like sea urchin.

Raw Cabbage with special soy sauce (Great)
- simple appetizer yet truly appetizing and the best part is refillable thus you can have as many bowls as you like throughout your dining -

Complimentary Sour Radish

Special Menu: Pork Soup (Sensational)
[Recommended]
- for pork lovers, assure you will like this and soup capture the essences of pork and white carrot. the dish is out of the menu thus remember to ask the daily special -

Onigirimentai (Great)
- origiri means rice ball wrapped with seeweed while mentai refers to fish egg thus is an interesting and filling dish unlike normal Japanese roll -

Jyaga Batter (Sensational)
[Highly Recommended]
- strong fragrance of butter covering pieces of potatoes which is one of my favourite unfortunately is taste better with with skin on -

Uzuratamago (Great)
- quail egg and you taste smokey grill on every bite -

Mentaimaki and Kawa (Great)
- basically is pork slice with fish egg ball and chicken skin , the chicken skin is absolutely fantastic grill with teriyaki sauce -

AH OR Chu Yuk Fun @ Dataran Mentari, Sunway

AH OR Chu Yuk Fun (Pork Noodle)
No. 3, Jalan PJS 8/17
Dataran Mentari
46150 Bandar Sunway
Selangor Darul Ehsan
Tel: Jennifer (012-428 8680) / Jayce (012-613 0479)

After the restaurant BPL ceased its operation, the welcome AH OR pork noodle decided to shift their stalls into its own business shop lots located in Dataran Mentari, Sunway (a.k.a Sunway Mentari). The shop located opposite famous Yuen Steamboat whereby easily visible for its orange signboard.

AH OR pork noodle are quite similar the SS15 and Taman Bahagia pork noodle thus is the matter of preference and location conventionality. Personally I feel Taman Bahagia Pork Noodle slightly have the upper hand as compare to these. Despite that, AH OR's shop will fill with patrons during lunch and weekends.

Spacious space in the shop but slightly stuffy inside, might due to evening sun during lunch time. Was lucky to grab my lunch before the actual lunch time else the place will be pack with peoples.

AH OR's boiling the pork soup before pouring into each bowl of noodles.

Hor Fun and Yellow Noodle Pork Noodle - RM 6.50, Big

Lou Shu Fun Pork Noodle (Nice) - RM 5.30, Small
- The most different thing in the noodle as compare to normal pork stall noodle or 3JC pork noodles is the soup. It is slightly peppery with good sweetness of pork taste but slightly oily due to the pork lard -

Overall, AH OR serves above average pork noodles and due to the her strategic location, flow of patrons will just to step in for some porky soup noodles like me.
