For their history, you can get more from their website. As you can see, they are established since 1933 and still doing very well and even better. For those who don't know anything about Henghua, here is some brief summary about them.

"Henghua is a minority Chinese dialect of the immigrants from Putien in Fujian province. The dialect and cuisine are closest to that of Foochow and Hokkien dialects, but is also unique in its own ways. Putien is located near the coast, which explains why ingredients like sea weed, oysters, clams and other seafood are dominant features in the Henghua cuisine." - extracted from www.mingchung.com.sg

The soup base was cook from the prawn and pork ribs. It taste sweet and yummy. Best of all, the prawn that they serve are big compared to Malaysia's prawn noodle.

Fish cake is one of the must try side order...If I remember correctly, it only cost SGD1.00.

Roti Prata or better known as Roti Canai (Malaysian) is another side dish that you might want to try. But this one taste ordinary.
