This is one of the best sarawak laksa that I tasted so far which being sold in one of the stall in Restoran Gembira, Taman Megah (opposite Ming Tien Food Court). The stall is right at the front after the yong tau fu stall and take note that is closed on every alternate Mondays.

- springy egg noodles being cooked perfectly in hot boiling water before its being cool off under normal temperature water to maintain the springy texture of the noodles. The laksa not really spicy with good fragrance of curry -

The Sarawak Laksa comes with shredded omelette, chicken and tau geh.

Overall, the springy noodle makes everything special that attract me most so be sure to try it if you visited the place.

Not really new but its famous around the neighbourhood of OUG whereby customers enjoys simple western cuisines. Its located corner of the shop lot behind Steven's Corner.

Relaxing and warm ambiance that suitable for both family and friends to hang around.

- lack of mushroom taste and rather watery -

Grill Chicken Chop with Butter Rice (Average) - RM17.90
- the rice rather hard and lack of flavour on the gravy -

Roasted Chicken With Fried Rice (Average) - RM 12.90
- the fried rice rather dry and only serve with few cubes of roasted chicken -

Overall, the roasted chicken tasted not bad but only come in few cubes and find it slightly expensive for both the main course and the soup. Prefer the one in Taman Billion, Cheras.

Kokopelli is located opposite 3 2 Square in Petaling Jaya which being transformed from an banglow into these cozy and refreshing ambiance bistro. Its my first visit and being comforted by its environment.

Simple decorates with graffiti drawings and spacious outdoor area suitable for all family and friends to hang out for beverages and meals.

 

Interior warmly decorated with white tablecloths, small lampshades and tea light candles

Kokopelli also offer a room for private events that can fit minimally 8 pax

Overall, Kokopelli is a nice place but the service is rather slow because lack of staffs servings all customers.

Fatty crab in Taman Megah had been well established and known to many people. One of hot spot for all Malaysian including Malays because had been certified as Halal restaurant (Per verification this is not Halal Certified). Due to overwhelming response from customers, the management need to streamline their menu and only serve limited choices of dishes. Their specialty includes:

• Sweet and sour sauce crab


• Steam crab


• Steam fish teow-chew style


• Chicken satay


• Signature fried rice


• Fried chicken wings


• Toast bread

As you can see, the place is crowded with customers outside waiting and some on stools.

- signature does not always means nice, in my perception is just ordinary plain fried rice -

Spicy sour Crab (Great)
- have to admit, they have their own style and taste of spicy sour crab which will just continue eating -

Toast Bread
- make sure you enjoy the toast bread with the spicy sour sauce -

Overall, its quite pricy for the portion and limited choices available in Fatty Crab thus if would want to taste varieties will choose other locations instead.
