@ Restaurant Lian Heng
22, Jalan SS19/6,
47500 Subang Jaya,
Selangor, M'sia
Business Hours: 8am till late noon
This introduction is nothing new to the neighbours of SS19 and also one of my favourite location for Pan Mee. Apart from those commercialise pan mee you have it from "Face to Face" or "JoJo Pan Mee", this is more traditional manner in preparing it. You can see the cook will pull out the flour dough from the big bowl and start pinching off bits by bits from the silky dough into the boiling soup. Because of this, you will se the restaurant is pack of customers from the time it opens till it finished daily.
Be aware that you need to get a cardboard with number from the stall upon your arrival and wait for your turn before the order is taken. Normally will take you minumum 30 minutes to 45 minutes before your meal is serve and can stretch up to an hour during lunch hours. Therefore, do reach early if you plan to have it during weekdays.
Sugar cane plus Coconut
[You can see all its sugar canes and coconuts are freshly stacked in front of the restaurant and only juice out upon request. This drink is something that you wont get in many places and the coconut does help in reducing the sweetness in the sugar cane as well as ur heatiness while waiting for your meal.]
Simple stall with everything by stratch of hands ease the preparation time.
[Hardly taste the four flavour because the flour is freshly prepared every early morning by the owner. The minced pork is being cook with mushroom, soya sauce and etc. unlike those normal pan mee stalls. If your a spicy lover then you would enjoy their chilly paste as well.]
Hokkien Pan Mee Dry
[If you fancy the dry more be sure to request for additional minced pork (RM1.00 for a bowl that can be share by 3 to 4 persons)]
